The second round of the high school football state playoffs kick off Friday across the state.
Eighteen teams from the 501 survived their respective first-round matchups to continue on their quest for a championship.
In the 7A, Cabot travels to North Little Rock for a rematch of a Week 9 classic. Two weeks ago, Cabot went into to North Little Rock and stunned the Charging Wildcats, leading the game into the fourth quarter. North Little Rock came from behind to take the lead, 28-21. Cabot scored in the final seconds and decided to go for the two-point conversion and the win. The North Little Rock defense held, and the Charging Wildcats won, 28-27.

In the 3A, Bald Knob is set to host its second-straight playoff game as Centerpoint comes to town. Bald Knob and its high flying offense put up 40 points on Perryville a week ago. Haskell Harmony Grove stunned top seeded Mountain View last week, and the Cardinals travel to Atkins this week. Harding Academy, the defending 3A state champions, plays host to Newport.
